All the countries of the world share the celebrations of the World Civil Defense Day on 1 March of each year.

This year's celebration, which comes under the slogan "Children's safety is our goal," is an occasion that reflects the interior ministry’s interest – represented by the civil defence authority – in ensuring the safety and protection of all types and stages of the educational establishments.

In this context, the Directorate General of Civil Defense has prepared a plan for the kingdom’s participation in the celebration of this Day, with the participation of government agencies, civil institutions, citizens and residents, to organize a number of events in all kingdom’s regions, in order to deepen the safety concepts and raise the awareness of prevention against risks.
