The Ministry of Interior (MOI) said that it is necessary for citizens - wishing to travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan, to get an electronic visa through the online visa application system (EVIS.GOV.AZ) that would be issued within three working days - as of January 10, 2017.
General Director of the General Department of Relations and Media at the ministry, Maj. Gen. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Maraol, emphasized that the ministry had received a cable from the Foreign Ministry referring to a presidential decree by the Azerbaijani president to facilitate access to the e-visa for Saudis wishing to travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan, where they can get single-entry visa and reside for 30 days in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
