Ministry of Interior (MOI) has decided to allow all citizens with unlicensed weapons and ammunitions to license them, noting that it will suspend the procedures relating to pursue of anyone – who initiates to report the weapons in his possession – for one year as of 17/10/1439 H.
Ministry of Interior calls upon anyone who possesses an unlicensed weapon or ammunition to take advantage of this period in order to avoid the penalties and sanctions of weapons and ammunition system and its implementing regulations. MOI also calls on all citizens to comply with the terms of weapons and ammunition systems issued by the royal decree no. 45 of 25 /07/1426 H and its implementing regulations.
Anyone who possesses unlicensed weapon or ammunition can visit MOI e-portal (www.moi.gov.sa) to book an appointment and to download the required forms.
