The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has warned against dealing with some websites that allege they sell tickets at discounted prices, where they lure individuals and use the information of their bank cards.
Director General of Relations and Media Department at the Ministry, Maj. Gen. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Mara'ol, said that the Ministry calls upon all citizens and residents to be careful when dealing with groups that announce selling of tickets at discounted prices through numerous websites, including (ae.ikariam.gamefoage.com). He said that those groups tempt some people to get tickets at discounted prices, then use their bank cards information, and receive funds through remittances to such bank cards stolen from citizens and residents.
To avoid such a fraud, Maj. Gen. Al-Mara'ol asserted the importance of being careful when dealing with these websites, and the need to make sure of that travel agencies or tourism companies are authentic when dealing with them.
