Based on the approval of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, has launched the start of King Abdullah Project for development of work in the governorates of the regions.
The launch came during the first meeting of the Project's Supreme Steering Committee, which the crown prince chaired yesterday at the ministry in Riyadh, in the presence of all members of the committee.
During the meeting the latest preparations and arrangements for the implementation of the project, which will start at the beginning of the new Hijri year, were reviewed.
The crown prince stressed the keenness of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on enhancing the capabilities of State organs and institutions and raise their performance capacity to achieve goals and objectives, to realize a balanced and sustainable development in all regions of the Kingdom, promoting the various aspects of life to ensure a decent life for all citizens.
It is worth noting that this vital and ambitious project, which will take up to (5) years, consists of six major programmes, including 34 sub-projects in various administrative, human and technical aspects.
