Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, governor of Makkah region, and chairman of the board of trustees of the Academy of Arabic Poetry, crowned the winners of Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal award for Arabic Poetry in its fourth season.
He honored the winners of the award, and they are: the winner of the Poetry Experience Award, poet, Mohamed bin Abdullah Al-Ali, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a value of 500,000 Saudi riyal, and the winner of the Diwan Award, poet, Mohamed Al-Amin Joop, from the Republic of Senegal for his poetry (as a song that will not be completed) and the value of 200,000 Saudi riyal, and the winner of the Poetry Prize for the Playwright, poet, Mohamed Ismail Abdullah Swailem, from the Arab Republic of Egypt for his play (A Blind Plays Chess), with a value of 100,000 Saudi riyal, and the winner of the Award for the Sung Poem for poet, Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain, from the state of Kuwait, for the poem (I will not forget you), performed by the artist Walaa Al-Jundi, with a value of 100,000 Saudi riyal, and the best prize A project in the service of Arabic poetry for the House of Poetry in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, with a value of 100,000 Saudi riyal.
Prince Khalid Al-Faisal also honored the winners of the Promising Poet Award, with a total value of 500,000 Saudi riyal.
He also honored the winners of the Saudi Universities Track Award and its value 60,000 thousand Saudi riyal for each winner.
