Through its Absher services, the MOI e-portal aims to provide a one-stop platform to facilitate access and getting benefit from e-services offered by the MOI and its various sectors for expatriates or their dependents. Such services, which can be executed within a few minutes, include the various services provided by MOI sectors like the Traffic Department, GDP and Civil Affairs, and other services such as queries, booking appointments, printing electronic forms and viewing the instructions and directives issued by the Ministry. This comes in order to facilitate for expats and their dependents, and make the procedures easy for them.

  • How can I activate my account in absher portal through Alinma Bank?
    • Alinma Internet

      • Select Services icon.
      • Click on (Absher Service Activation).
      • After confirming your data, select “Activate”.
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.


      Alinma Application

      • Select Services icon.
      • Click on (Absher Service Activation).
      • After confirming your data, select “Activate”.
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

  • Why can't I Log in to My Account?
    • This problem can happen if the user name or password that you entered is incorrect. Enter the correct user name and password to solve the problem.

      Also note, that  User ID and password are case sensitive.

  • I am a job seeker, what is the right site or contact to post my CV?
    • When there are vacancies in any MOI departments, they will be announced together with application methods.

  • What are the contact details for MOI sectors?
    • MOI sectors can be contacted through the "Contact Us" link located in main menu of each sector on the Portal.

  • What do I need to register for Absher e-Services Portal ?
    • For registration you need the followings:


      • Valid ID or residence permit (Iqama) number.
      • Your valid  email address.
      • Your mobile number.
      • Read & Accept  the Terms of Service and accept them.

      Important Notice:
      • Registration will not be completed if you provide incorrect e-mail address or phone number.
      • The use of another person's ID  number in the registration process is illegal.

  • What shouldI do when this error message appears: "the service is not available"?
    • Please try again later; the system may be busy now.

  • I would like to register, but the registration page is not available; what shall I do?
    • Please try again later; the system may be busy now.

  • How could I activate my account in the absher through Al Rajhi Bank?
    • To activate your account in absher portal through Al-Rajhi Bank, please follow these steps:

      First: Mubasher Alrajhi:

      • Choose Services icon.
      • Press on "Register in Absher" from drop menu.
      • After reading Service Description press accept
      • Your information will appear to you, click proceed.
      • After completing steps, you will receive a confirmation SMS with details.

      Second: Al-Rajhi ATM:

      • Enter your card at an ATM and select "other operations" from the main menu
      • Select "portal of the Ministry of Interior (Absher)" from the submenu
      • Make sure of your personal information and contact number, and then continue the steps to complete the registration process

      After completing the previous steps, you will receive a confirmation SMS on your registered mobile number.

      Third: Phone banking:

      • Call phone number 920003344
      • After entering customer number, and PIN, select No. 5
      • Select No. 4 in the next step to complete the activation process.

  • How can I activate my account in the absher through Riyad Bank?
    • First: Activation via Riyad Online:

      • Select other services
      • Press on (Registration in Absher Services)

      • Ensure your personal data; then press on confirm
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

      Second: Activation via Riyad Mobile:

      • Select other services from the side menu
      • Press on (Absher Registration)
      • Ensure your personal data; then accept the T&C and press on agree
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

      Third: activation through RiyadLine

      • Contact RiyadLine at 920002470.

      • After entering the RiyadLine login Credentials, choose the Settings and Other Services from the main menu.

      • Choose the Other Services option from the list of services.

      • Choose the ABSHER registration service from the list.

      • Accept the terms and conditions then confirm the customer's ID number and mobile number.

      • Confirm to registration service successfully.

      The ABSHER registration information will be sent by SMS to your registered mobile number at Riyad Bank.

  • How can I activate my account in absher portal through Alahli Bank?
    • First: via AlAhli Mobile Banking

      Download AlAhli Mobile from your device store
      • Enter your User ID and Password
      • Click “Login”
      The login must be confirmed using multifactor authentication via SMS, or AlAhliToken:
      • Enter the Security Code
      •  Click “Ok”

      After completing logging-in:
      •  Under “Bill Payment”, click Absher Activation
      ID and mobile number is shown, review information, and to continue:
      • Click “Submit”

      In the Confirmation page, customer details are shown, and to continue:
      • Click “Confirm”
      • After completing the previous steps, confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number.

      Second: via alahlionline

      Visit alahlionline.com
      • Enter your User ID and Password
      • Click “Login”

      The login must be confirmed using multifactor authentication via SMS, or AlAhliToken:
      • Enter the Security Code
      •  Click “Ok”

      After completing logging-in:
      •  Under “Bill Payment”, click Absher Activation
      Under Details Customer ID and Account number is shown, review information, and to continue:
      • Click “Send”

      In the Confirmation page, customer details are shown, and to continue:
      • Click “Confirm”
      • After completing the previous steps, confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number.

      Third: Alahli Phone Banking:

      • Call Alahli Phone Banking No. 920001000
      • After entering the information press No. 4.
      • Then Press No. 5.

      A confirmation SMS with registration information will be sent to your mobile number.


      Fourth: Alahli ATM:

       Select: (Activate Abhseronline e-service)
      Read term and conditions, then select "Agree".

      • Confirm  you mobile number then select "correct" or follow the instructions if your number is incorrect.

      • After selecting "correct"  you will receive a SMS confirms activation of your Abhser online e-services.

  • How can I activate my account in the absher through Bank Albilad?
    • First: Via Albilad Net:

       
      • From Main Menu
      • Press on Abhser  Portal Activation – ABSHER
      • Read the steps of Abhser e-services Activation – ABSHER and press on confirm button.
      • Confirm the Information and activate.

      After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number

      Second: Via ATM Machines:

      • From Main Menu
      • Press Other Services button
      • Press on Abhser e-services Activation – ABSHER button.
      • Read the steps of Abhser e-services Activation – ABSHER and press on agree button.
      • Confirm the Information and activate.

      After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

  • How can I use the Abhser Portal and benefit from the services provided?
    • To take advantage of the e-services provided at Absher portal you must:

      • Register.
      • When registration is completed, you will receive a registration number.
      • Visit the Civil Affairs Department (if a citizen) or Passports (if a resident) with your ID proof to complete the registration process and activate your account so that you can be able to use all e-services available at the portal.
      • Once your account has been activated, you will be able to login through the "log in" page, update your data and benefit from the e-services offered by the departments of the Ministry.

  • How can I activate my account in the absher through Banque Saudi Fransi?
    • To activate your account in MOI portal through Banque Saudi Fransi, please follow these steps:

      * Login to “FransiPlus” account.
      * From the main menu choose SADAD/ MOI service, and then click on (Absher Activation) icon.
      * Your personal information will be displayed: your ID/ Iqama number and your mobile number registered in the system.
      * Click "Activate" to complete the process.
      * After completing the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

  • How can I activate my account in absher portal through Bank AlJazira?
    • Activation through AlJazira Online:
       
      • Select Government Services, then Absher Activation; ID number and mobile number will appear, and this requires that the user shall choose a language (English or Arabic), then click on proceed.
      • After reading the service terms and conditions, click on Confirm.
      • Verification code will be sent; enter the code and click on Continue.
      • You will receive a message that the registration has been completed.

      Activation through AlJazira SMART:
       
      • Select Government Services, then Absher Activation; ID number and mobile number will appear, and this requires that the user shall choose a language (English or Arabic), then click on proceed.
      • After reading the service terms and conditions, click on Confirm.
      • Verification code will be sent; enter the code and click on Continue.
      • You will receive a message that the registration has been completed.

      Activation through AlJazira phone:

      • Call phone number 800 244 0404
      • Select number “1” to enter the list of phone banking services
      • Select service number "6", “MOI e-Services", from the menu
      • Select number "1" to listen to the Terms and Conditions, or select number "2” if you are familiar with the terms and conditions
      • Select number "1" to agree to the terms and conditions, and continue the activation of your account for the e-services
      • An SMS containing Registration Info will be sent to your mobile number registered in Bank AlJazira
      • The last step: login to your account in Abhser e-portal www.absher.sa, to take advantage of e-services available, through the “log in" option; enter your ID number in the “Username” field, and the activation code in the password field
       
      Activation AlJazira ATM:

      • From the main Menu screen select (Activate Abhser online e-service)
      • Select preferred language for the SMS
      • To access the terms and conditions you can scan the QR code using your cellphone or enter the web address manually once you agree to the terms you can continue to the next step
      • Enter your mobile number.
      You will receive an SMS with your temporary username & password.

  • How can I activate my account in absher through The Saudi Investment Bank?
    • To activate your account in absher portal through Saudi Investment Bank, please follow these steps:

      First: Flexx Call - Phone Banking

      -Call phone number 0114183100

      -Select No. (1) to enter customer information

      -Select No. (7) for Absher service

      -Select No. (1) to register in Absher service

      -After completing steps, you will receive a confirmation SMS with details

      Second: Flexx Click – Internet Banking

      -Select my E-Bank Icon

      -Select (register in Absher service)

      -Confirm customer information.

      -Authentication code will be sent to your mobile

      -After completing steps, you will receive a confirmation SMS with details.


      Third: Flexx Touch - Mobile App

      -Select my E-Bank Icon

      -Select (register in Absher service)

      -Confirm customer information.

      -Authentication code will be sent to your mobile

      -After completing steps, you will receive a confirmation SMS with details.

  • How can I activate my account in the absher through Samba Bank?
    • Via Samba online:

      • Activation via Samba online.
      • Select mobile services, then click on register in Absher.
      • Read and accept the conditions and rules.
      • After checking your personal data, click on agree.
      • After completing the previous steps, confirmation message will be sent to your registered   mobile number.

       

  • How could I activate my account in the absher portal through Sabb Bank?
    • First: Activation via Sabb Net

      • Select service icon.

      • Select (register in Absher)
      • Confirm customer data and read the conditions and rules then click on (Activate)
      • After completing steps a SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number.

      Second: Activation via Sabb Mobile

      • Login into SABB Mobile
      • Click on Settings
      • Click on (ABSHER Registration).
      • After confirming your data,   Select accept the terms and conditions”.
      • Click on (Register)
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

  • How can I register for Absher E-services portal-
    • • Go to Absher portal at Absher.sa

      • Click on  "New User" link at the top of the page.

      • Read the registration terms and click on "click here to register"  icon to accept Terms and Conditions.

      • Fill the "User Registration form" that appears as instructed .

      • Upon  completion, the "registration completed" screen will be displayed and this means your account is crated with your  registration reference number; please keep the number which you need to Account Activation .

  • How can I activate my account in absher portal through Alawwal Bank?
    • To activate your account in MOI portal (ABSHER). Please follow the below steps:-

      • Visit Alawwal website www.alawwalbank.co.
      • Login to Alawwal Online using your Username and Password.
      • Click on MOI Payment from the main menu.
      • Click on ABSHER Registration.
      • View your personal information and click submit to proceed.
      • Review your information and then click on confirm to complete the transaction. 
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

  • How can I activate my account in absher portal through Arab National Bank?
    • To activate your account through ANB bank, please follow these steps:

      First Via ANB Net:

      • Select MOI services menu
      • Select sub-menu “Absher Activation”
      • Check your data then agree
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number

      Activation through ANB ATM:

      • Insert ANB Mada card into the ATM
      • Select language
      • Select other services from the main menu
      • Select "Absher" activation
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

      Third: through ANB App.

      • Select other services.
      • Select sub-menu “Absher Activation”.
      • Agree on terms and conditions.
      • Enter the sent verification code on your mobile.
      • Press on “accept”.
      • After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

  • When I try to register this message is displayed "This User ID is already registered", what should I do?
    • Provide another different "user ID"; the message displayed means that the user ID you entered is already in use by another user.

  • I have a problem accessing after registration; it has been for more than three weeks and I am receiving the error message "page cannot be displayed", what shall I do?
    • Please try again later; the system may be busy now.

  • How can I change my registered email?
    • Log on your Absher account and from "User Information"; you can edit and change your profile details including your e-mail.

  • I couldn't finish my registration; a message appears "try again later" what shall I do?
    • Please try again later; the system may be busy now.

  • Do I need a passport number, to register?
    • No passport number is required for registration process.

  • I can not login from my PC; but if I use my friend's PC I do login, what is the problem?
    • There may be some temporary files or Cookies stored in your PC while surfing the Internet; delete cookies and then restart the computer.

  • How can I reset my password?
    • The system will ask you to enter the "user name, your old password, new password and the answer of secret security question" you provided upon registration.
