Director of Public Security, Lt. General Othman bin Nasser Al-Mihrij, has launched today at the Al Faisaliyah hotel in Riyadh, "Amn" portal, a public security electronic gate, which provides a bundle of new IT services - that serve all relevant authorities, and speed up the work procedures in a safe manner.
The e-Gate has also launched a range of diverse security e-services that can be obtained from the electronic portal of the Directorate General of Public Security, Ministry of Interior.
Speaking on the occasion, the Public Security chief said that the launch of the gate is a great step towards the transformation of e-government, noting that the "Amn" e-gate came in existence in order to facilitate the procedures for the customers of the directorate, save their time and raise the effectiveness of their performance.
He affirmed that the purpose of the service is to raise government efficiency in accomplishing transactions, and achieve accuracy with regard to beneficiaries' information.
