The Department of Civil Defense in Makkah has raised the level of preparedness to preserve the safety of pilgrims and worshipers in the House of Allah, during the second half of the holy month of Ramadan, which is witnessing a significant increase in the number of the Umrah performers and pilgrims.
There is a continued state of full preparedness and readiness to receive reports on any incidents, particularly in the central area of the holy City.
For his part, Major Hattan Al-Qureshi, the director of the civil defense division in the southern Central area, has confirmed the readiness of the civil defense centers to deal with any emergencies that may occur around the Al-Haram Al-Makki around the clock, and to implement of the highest safety standards for the worshipers and Umrah pilgrims.
He said that the main objective and the first duty of the civil defense plan throughout the holy month of Ramadan is to protect the Umrah pilgrims.
