The Ministry of Interior's Security Spokesman stated that further to the announcement issued on Thursday, 10/21/1436 AH, (06/08/2015 AD) on the bombing targeted the special emergency force's personnel in Asir region while performing noon (Zuhr) prayers in the force headquarters' mosque, which resulted in the martyrdom of (15) and injury of ( 33) and body parts believed to be the result of explosive belts, have been found at the bombing site.
And when the competent authorities were starting their investigation in this heinous crime, it is revealed that the incident was caused by a suicide bomber who blew himself up in crowds of worshipers with an explosive belt while they have performed the noon prayers, and the investigations have resulted in the following outcomes: -
First, the ascertain of the identity of the perpetrator of this sinful terrorist crime in the mosque of the special emergency force in Asir region has shown that his name is Yousef bin Sulaiman Abdullah Al-Sulaiman of Saudi nationality, and was born in 1415 AH (1995).
Second, the criminal incident has resulted in the martyrdom of (15) worshipers, five of them from the security forces' personnel working at the headquarters and six trainees enrolled in courses of Hajj activities in addition to four of the workers at the site (Bangladeshi national), and the procedures of ascertain of their identities came as follows:
1 - Corporal / Ahmed Musa Hassan Al Hassan Al-Rebae.
2 - Corporal / Sultan Mohammed Ahmed Al Shahrani.
3 - Corporal / Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al Awad Asiri.
4 - Corporal / Mofreh Ali Ahmed Al Abou Marae Asiri.
5 - Corporal / Eid Matter Mubarak Al-Shahrani.
6 - Soldier (trainee) / Abdullah Ayedh Abdullah Al Saad.
7 - Soldier (trainee) / Omar Ahmed Omar Abu Shushah Asiri.
8- Soldier (trainee) / Abdulaziz Abdullah Yahya bin Meshraf.
9- Soldier (trainee) / Falah Jaber Saad Al Shannan Al-Qahtani.
10- Soldier (trainee) / Mishal Ali Mughram Al-Asiri.
11- Soldier (trainee) / Mamdouh Misfer Mohammed Al-Musaili Al-Harthy.
12 - Mohammed Bilal Hussein Mohammed, Bangladeshi national.
13- Avaz Din Noor Nobi, Bangladeshi national.
14- Md Gabibon Abdul Ahamid, Bangladeshi national.
15- Maqal Meredh, Bangladeshi national.
This terrorist incident is still under follow-up by the relevant security authorities. The Ministry of Interior announces this to show that such a cowardly act, which did not take into account the sanctity of the place and the infallible blood, does reflect the malice, criminality and misguidance of this thought. Such despicable acts will increase the determination of security men and the honorable people of this country to confront the deviant thought and to defend the religion and the security and stability of this blessed country and its people.
