Four people have been injured in a fire that broke out today in an apartment in the Al-Safa district of Jeddah province. They suffered from second and third degree burns; they were rushed to hospital, according to Makkah Civil Defense spokesman Col. Saeed Sarhan.
He said that gas leak in the kitchen was the source of the fire and there was an explosion. The fire completely the furniture of the living and bed rooms.
He added that the fire also damaged the walls of the kitchen, the walls of the bed room, the main entrance and a number of cars parked outside the house.
