The passport department in Jazan region will partake in the ninth Jazan Winter Festival, which is organized at the Heritage Village in Jizan city.
The director in-charge of the passport department in the region, Brigadier-General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Battah, said that the department will participate in the festival with a special pavilion that would contribute to highlighting the safe and distinctive e-passport services, and inform the public about such speedy and accurate services.
He pointed out that the wing offers the festival visitors a number of introductory and educational publications that pertain to the "Absher" and "Muqeem" services. He added that Absher service would be activated for visitors, including male and female citizens and expats, through the self-activation devices; besides, a "Mobile Bag" will also be available in the pavilion to provide various passport services, as well as a number of modern and very sophisticated forgery-detecting devices.
