The General Directorate of Passports (GDP) has launched – in collaboration with National Information Center (NIC) – three new electronic services to facilitate and make available easy passport services to the citizens and residents.
The three new e-services include:
First: employers with less than 100 employees can electronically update passport data of their workers.
Second: expats can update their dependents’ passport data after the renewal of passports in missions within the Kingdom.
Third: resident data service: This can be accessed through Absher Business platform to enable the employers to obtain basic data of their workers in their companies. The data can be printed to submit to authorities when requested.
These services help those having an Absher account to authorize others to carry out services related dependents.
For his part, Major General Al-Yahya said that the GDP seeks to offer many electronic services in the near future, to save the time and effort of the beneficiaries, and ensure the speed of delivery and quality of service.
