The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has concluded a training course entitled "Knowledge Elements for Internal Audit". The 1-month training course was held at the Security Forces Officers Club in Riyadh – in cooperation with the Saudi Association of Internal Auditors.
The aim of the training course – that comes in line with the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the deputy premier and minister of interior, is to contribute to the advancement of the internal audit profession and activate the role of internal audit departments in government agencies through development and training.
It also comes as an extension to an approved memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the MOI and the Saudi Internal Auditors Association, aiming at providing training programs for specialists in the internal audit departments of government agencies and developing guidance procedures for the internal audit departments, so as to improve the performance of the internal auditors by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their work efficiently and effectively.
