Pursuant to the directive of Minister of Interior, the reception and e-communication centers at the Minister’s Office have been launched by the Ministry of Interior, under the slogans (Easier Access and Faster Accomplishment), and (Your Time is Precious; We Value It). These centers allow for citizens a number of distinctive services. They save the citizen’s time and effort because any citizen can get access to them easily and make an appointment with the minister over his usual weekly meeting in his office, or meet him directly through video conference technology, where the beneficiary receives an SMS on his mobile phone, with an appointment with the minister, specifying the day, date, time and place.
Objectives of the centers:

To promote the idea of direct communication between the Minister and citizens by using advanced audiovisual technology, without a need to travel to the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh and Jeddah.

To develop service provision mechanisms, and develop means to communicate with the Minister.

To provide services to citizens effectively, efficiently, and in a professional manner.

To follow-up requests of citizens with the competent authorities, and update them about the status of their requests through SMS.

To reduce time spent for completing transactions.

To provide recording e-mechanism to serve as a statistical means to record the number of applications, their types and topics.

To provide a chance for the citizen to evaluate the service provided and the person who performs it.

To provide an opportunity for citizens to review the service centers daily from 8 am to 4 pm.

To provide an opportunity for citizens to review by phone, without a need to visit the center, as the call center operates from 8 am to 12 pm.

The service is provided at the reception and e-communication center in Riyadh, Moroug district, for (men and women). The center works five days a week from 8 am to 4 pm.

The service is provided at the reception and e-communication center in Jeddah, King Abdulaziz Rd., for (men and women). The center works five days a week from 8 am to 4 pm.
Call center - reception and e-communication centers
The centers enable any citizen to contact and ask about their transactions, or enquire free of charge. The centers also have been provided with electronic devices that offer all MOI sectors’ services online (inquire about transactions, etc.). Besides, these centers deal with urgent requests that require a quick meeting with the minister of interior for urgent cases.
