The security spokesman of Interior Ministry stated that further to the previous announcement on preventing the collection of cash or in-kind donations for any purpose before obtaining a permit from the competent authorities and doing that is considered an act violating the regulations in force in the Kingdom, including the regulation of anti-terrorism and its financing and subjecting the one who does or responds to it for regular accountability, in addition to the deportation of any foreign resident proved to be involved in it.
The directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Interior Minister, and Chairman of Supreme Hajj Committee, were issued to confirm a follow-up to do so and take all necessary measures to prevent any irregularities to collect cash or in-kind donations for any party whatsoever, by any means, or announcing, or calling for that without a permit from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance or the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, emphasizing the follow-up of circulating coupons of sacrificial meat, and prevention of their distribution except in the sites of the authorized parties, and taking all legal procedures against anyone who violates this.
