The general directorate of narcotics control (GDNC) arrested an Ethiopian individual in Sabya governorate in the Jazan region for attempting to distribute 3,012 prescription pills. Initial legal procedures were taken and the culprit was referred to public prosecution.
Security agencies are urging the public to report any information available regarding drug trafficking or drug promotion by calling 911 in the Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions and 999 in the other regions of the kingdom. Reports can also be made to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control via 995 and 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality.
