Board of Grievances signs Info Exchange Agreement with NIC

The Saudi Board of Grievances signed, yesterday, an agreement for exchange of information with the National Information Center (NIC), Ministry of Interior; at the headquarters of the Board in Riyadh, in the presence of Chairman of the Board of Grievances Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef.

The agreement has been signed for the Board of Grievances by Ali bin Abdurrahman Al-Hammad, and for the National Information Center, it has been signed by Director General of the Center Maj. Gen. Dr. Tariq bin Abdullah Al-Sheddi.

The agreement aims at exchanging the information between the two sides, regarding the verification, query and update of citizens, residents and establishments' data available to the two sides, to achieve information integration among e-applications, to avoid errors in data entry and ensure data matching on both sides, in order to launch easily accessible online services.

Implementation of the agreement will be through a supervisory committee consisting of the two parties. The committee shall supervise the implementation of the agreement terms, hold regular meetings and form sub-committees from the interior ministry's sectors and the Board of Grievances according to the nature of the requested service.

The signing of this agreement comes at a time when the Board of Grievances has launched a number of IT initiatives in order to facilitate litigation procedures.
