Housing Minister Majid Al-Hugail and an accompanying delegation visited the National Information Center (NIC) last Sunday, where he met with Director General of the Center Dr. Tariq Al-Sheddi and his aides.
During the visit, the minister and his delegation were briefed on the NIC's data centers, and informed about the prominent technological services provided by the Center for the sectors of the ministry of interior and other government agencies. The delegation was also briefed on the most notable electronic services provided through the interior ministry e-portal; the delegation was also informed about the National Information Observatory
At the end of the visit, the minister of housing expressed admiration and appreciation over the size of the IT developments taking place in the Center. He also commended the role of the talented national cadres who lead the implementation process of all the projects that require high skills in management and acquisition of a wide knowledge on the latest developments in this area.
