Vision:

The Institute's vision is to become a unique training institute in the kingdom, which provides excellent and high-quality training in IT domain for the workforce of the Presidency of State Security (PSS) and relevant government agencies, in order to qualify and develop them.

Mission:

The Institute's mission is to achieve the PSS's strategy which is aimed to build and develop the capabilities of staff working in the PSS, and government agencies related to technical work, by providing them with technical knowledge and skills they need to perform their work proficiently through ongoing training programmes on computer and to develop technical skills and capabilities of trainers.

Objectives:
  1. The ability to forecast technological future in order to train the PSS employees on how to use and apply new technologies.
  2. Seeking to develop computer training with responsibility and innovation, using the highest quality standards.
  3. Find and activate advanced technical training and reinforce this principle through inclusion of training programmes which cope with latest changes.
  4. Design and prepare general training plans in the area of computer and communications to all employees of the PSS' sectors to realise equality between the trainees and to raise competitiveness.
  5. Design training programmes targeting the administrative leaders to raise awareness of computer importance to decision-makers at the PSS's sectors, and continue developing these programmes.
  6. Revise the tests and final evaluation of all courses to reflect the level achieved in training.
  7. Provide automatic tests to achieve the level of quality in outputs.
  8. Provide training programmes for all categories (officers, civilians, contractors ...); and hold training courses on job when needed.
  9. Hold training courses on recent systems simultaneously with their launch.
  10. Combine theoretical knowledge with practical application.

  11. Achieve availability kingdom-wide to meet the needs of Presidency of State Security's sectors in their regions.

  12. Apply international quality standards for all elements of the training process to achieve quality of output, and to gain ISO certification in the training field.
