The text message service (SMS) is a set of free messages sent by Ministry of Interior to the citizens and residents. They are sent on cell phones to subscribers to alert them about significant changes that affect their civil records. The service aims to achieve the following benefits:
  1. Devote transparency and reassure the subscriber on correctness of his records, telling him about the most important operations carried out immediately.

  2. Remind the subscriber before a close expiry date of documents like (driving licences and vehicle registration), to avoid delay fines.

  3. Tell the subscriber to receive centrally printed documents, (national identity card).

  4. Enable the subscriber to change the smart identity card PIN, and take advantage of digital identity systems, which enable him to access to electronic services on e-portals.
