King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain received yesterday in Bahrain, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, in presence of Bahraini Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa
During the audience, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, to the King of Bahrain.
In turn, the king of Bahrain sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the crown prince.
King Hamad bin Isa stressed the depth of historic and fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are based on strong foundations of cooperation and coordination in all fields.
The king of Bahrain lauded bright stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain, pointing out that the Bahraini-Saudi relations are a model of distinguished relations between the brothers based on principles of close brotherhood, cohesion and solidarity.
King Hamad also hailed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's role in enhancing the GCC joint action and unifying efforts and speech among the brothers.
He also stressed that these fraternal visits contribute to consolidate joint cooperation and coordination in the field of security with regard the current situations in light of critical circumstances in the region.
During the meeting, the latest developments at regional and international arenas were discussed.
The audience was attended by a number of officials.
