Major General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, Director General of General Director of Passports (GDP), paid an inspection tour last Wednesday to the passport department in Al- Raqa'i port.
The visit comes as part of follow-up tours to check the work development at the projects of the passport departments and international ports.
During the visit, the GDP director general was briefed on the work progress at the port and a number of passport sections. He also inspected the work at the reception hall, allocated to receive the violators of residence and work regulations and border security system, and the mechanism of completing their departure procedures.
Maj. Gen. Al-Yahya also visited the new Al- Raqa'i port project, and reviewed all stages of work in the passport departments.
After that, the GDP chief and his accompanying delegation headed to the passport department of Hafr Al-Batin province, where he inspected the work progress and procedures for completing the departure of violators of the residence and work regulations and border security system.
