Major General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, General Director of General Directorate of Passports (GDP), received in his office last Thursday, Ambassador of the Republic of Afghanistan to the Kingdom, Sayed Jalal Karim, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed the obstacles and successful solutions to them, stressing the importance of raising awareness to the Afghan community about the passport regulations and rules in the Kingdom. The two sides also discussed means of security cooperation with respect to the GDP work, in order to serve the two countries based on the strong relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Afghanistan.
At the end of the meeting, the Afghan ambassador thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – represented by the Ministry of Interior – for the good cooperation enjoyed by the Afghan community in the Kingdom, praising the efforts exerted by the GDP, wishing them further progress in the service of the citizens and residents in the Kingdom.
