What are the conditions of pardoning prisoners who keep Holy Quran by heart?

The late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz issued a royal decree to release prisoners, who memorize chapters of the holy Quran in prison, after spending half of one's sentence. The following conditions must be applicable:
- Sentence period must be no less than six (6) months.
- The chapters memorized must be at least two (2).

Does the woman who delivers a baby have the right to nurse him/ her?

Yes, the woman who delivers a baby has the right to nurse him/ her until the age of two (2) years. Then, the child is delivered to his/ her father or the one who has the right to take care of the baby after the mother. If there are no relatives of the child other than the mother, she/ he is kept in one of the childcare establishments of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, to enable the mother to see him/ her periodically.

How is the pregnant prisoner treated?

Pregnant women receive special medical care once the pregnancy is noticed. Periodic examinations are completed inside the prison. A short time before delivery, the prisoner is moved to the hospital until doctors discharge her. The medical care continues for (40) days after delivery in prison.
