Licensing private civil security guard activities
The following conditions and documents are required to complete the application for a private civil security guard activity licence for individual Saudi establishments or companies owned completely by Saudis:
Conditions:
- The applicant must be a Saudi citizen.
- The applicant’s minimum age must be 25 years.
- The applicant must be educated.
Documents required:
- The applicant requesting license approval must submit an approval request letter with the applicant's full details.
- Attach a valid copy of company registration if available; otherwise, submit a stamped certificate from the Commercial Registration Division proves that the name is unique for the company or establishment.
- If the applicant is a company, it must be a partnership and a copy of the Articles of Incorporation must be attached.
- Attach applicant's most recent diploma or degree obtained.
- Attach legible copy of National ID card.
- Submit a copy of the Identity Document, number, date and place of issue.
- A Certificate of good behavior and conduct form must be filled and certified at the Office of the Governor of the District and from the police.
- Submit a criminal record (clean slate.)
- Submit history of his residence, jobs and positions held for the last two years.
- Specify the province where the company is to be setup.
- The applicant must fill in the specified application form.
- The applicant must fill in the pledge form and sign it.
- Deposit a collateral with a stated maturity of five years.
- The applicant must receive a certified "acknowledgment of receipt" letter from the bank where the collateral is deposited.
- The applicant must submit three (3) recent color Photographs, 4X6 cm in size.
