
The Supervisory Committee responsible for overseeing the pavilion of the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia at GITEX Technology Week 2018 has announced the completion of preparations for the Ministry’s major participation at the event for the fourth consecutive year.
With the participation of 10 security and service sectors, the Saudi Ministry of Interior will showcase its latest services and innovative technology solutions to GITEX visitors. The ministry’s pavilion will include the National Information Center; Public Security; Passports Department; Civil Defense; Border Guards; King Fahad Security College; Civil Affairs; the Ministry's Security Agency; the General Directorate of Communications and Security Systems, and the Reception and E-Communications Center.
The Ministry of the Interior has announced the adoption of a unique pavilion design that reflects a secured city model inspired from the Saudi Arabia 2030 vision towards an integrated digital community and vibrant society.
In preparation for this year’s sizeable involvement, the MOI GITEX Supervisory Committee – tasked with organizing the Ministry’s participation – has arranged a workshop to brief 56 participants from across departments and review necessary steps to ensure a successful participation.
Dr. Ahmed Bin Jamil Al Mayman, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, said: "The Ministry of Interior is keen to mark another successful participation at GITEX Technology Week. This year’s pavilion will feature numerous initiatives through an interactive pavilion, that will demonstrate the various elements that represent various life aspects of Saudi’s communities, visitors and businesses. Our participation at this year’s exhibition will include a number of unique demonstrations, including providing an interactive experience for visitors, taking into consideration the mix of services and technological solutions provided by the Ministry of Interior which are interesting for visitors and exhibitors.”
