The General Directorate of Passports (GDP) has begun its tasks for this year's Hajj season, by completing the entry procedures for the pilgrims, coming through all the ports, with ease and comfort. And the passport departments at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz international airport in Al-Madinah, and King Abdulaziz international airport in Jeddah, had received and completed the entry procedures for first batches of pilgrims with a warm welcome.
For his part, GDP chief Maj. General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, said the Passport Directorate has completed all the necessary preparations for the Hajj season in accordance with the annual plan to receive the pilgrims, and has prepared the trained and qualified human cadres – who have been provided with all the devices and modern equipment – for this year's 1439 A.H. Hajj season, so as to ensure that pilgrims’ entry procedures are quickly and easily finalized.
He also stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to serve pilgrims and facilitate their entry into the Kingdom – according to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the deputy premier and minister of defense, and follow-up of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior.
