The national cybersecurity authority (NCA) held a workshop in Riyadh with more than 200 governmental and vital sectors’ representatives to discuss the state of cybersecurity in the kingdom and to showcase projects and initiatives that NCA launched recently.
The workshop tackled the main challenges in dealing with cyber threats and how to prevent them. As well as enhancing the national preparedness and readiness. Key cybersecurity recommendations were also shared to raise the protection against cyber threats.
In the sessions, “The Essential Cyber Security Controls” and national capacity building efforts were reviewed. Including the scholarship initiative, CyberPro Training program in addition to the national framework for cyber security incident response.
The workshop is part of the NCA’s program that partners with government and vital entities in aims at raise the awareness, readiness, maturity and information-sharing security against cyber threats.
More workshops will soon be held in Jeddah and the Eastern Province.
